SRT consists of a semi-structured test having open-ended questions/situations. This test consists of 60 routine life situations related with day to day activities. The situations are printed in a booklet and the candidate is asked to write his reactions by completing the sentences, as to how they would feel, think and act in these situations. The way the candidate responds , reveals the personality of a candidate. There are 60 situations and time allowed is just 30 minutes. Remember that the situations are day to day life situations. It is how one handles them completely and systematically, thus giving accounts of one’s logic. Normally, the situation is given in the past tense, using third person, singular number and in a brief language. The response should not be abrupt but a logical one. It is again positive in nature, not leaving any part of the situation un-handled.
